Cult Juvenile Completes & 8 Year Old Max Vu Video.

I actually know this kid (he’s Phu from Epic BMX‘s son) and it’s pretty amazing how good he is at 8. This video raises an interesting moral dilemma though. Do you tell an 8 year old that he’s spinning his 3′s the wrong way to correct his form? Or do you just let it rock and hope he follows in the footsteps of George Dossantos, Alistair Whitton and Ryan Nyquist, turning into the next goofy footed superstar? This is why I can’t have a kid any time soon, there are too many hard decisions like this.

That bike he’s on? It’s a 12″ Cult complete that we learned about today in an email about their new line of juvenile completes that come in 12″, 16″ and 18″. Check out the press release after the jump along with a video of 10 year old Bryce Tryon.

Here’s some info on the upcoming JUVENILE COMPLETE LINE that will be in stock very soon…With so many friends and family of CULT having babies, we took a hard look at the state of 12″, 16″ and 18″ inch completes and set out to design bikes kids could actually shred on…Working on the geometry, weight, aesthetic etc…We then tested the heck out of the bikes with 10 year old Bryce Tryon on the 18″, Tucker on the 16″ and 8 year old Max Vu on the 12″…These guys put the bikes through the paces and we are pleased with how they hold up…Watch these two edits below…
