The premise was simple; escape the frigid Midwest for a handful of days in the more temperate North Carolina. The week before Thanksgiving, John “Gremlin” Bechtold, Ryan Howard, Troy Merkle, Tony Cherry and myself piled into a bite-sized SUV and headed south. We had planned on ultimately making it to Columbia, South Carolina but NC had so much to offer that we decided to stay. Most of these photos are from between Winston-Salem and Raleigh.

Charleston, West Virginia; around 9:30am. We rode around for an hour or so just to get out of the car for a minute. Not pictured is Tony- he was at the local Long John Silver’s with some bowel issues. In fact, Tony’s bowels would become a mainstay on this trip.
Good stuff Scott!
Image 2 has some dialed Rembrandt lighting.
